Counselling & Psychotherapy for Students

I’ve dedicated myself to working with diverse university and college students, including first generation and international students, for over 12 years. My experience includes mental health counselling and clinical supervision roles at universities in Toronto and Pittsburgh, as well as working with the study abroad program Semester at Sea. My down-to-earth, flexible, and humorous style can work well for those who are brand new to therapy and for those who want a more consistent option than the services often offered on campus.

Some of the issues that we can explore include:

  • stress and burn-out

  • loneliness

  • academic perfectionism

  • relationship concerns

  • sadness and worry

  • self-esteem

  • family difficulties

  • substance use reduction

  • adjustment and transitions

  • cultural and identity-related issues

  • concerns regarding the future, and more…
